Sometimes all you need is a little bit of optimism
A little song, a little dance and a little laughter
To clear the gloomy air and the pessimistic clouds
You need some bright sun and some fresh air
She looked out of her window and sighed
After looking at the watch the hundredth time
“This will pass too”, she thought wistfully
As she took away her gaze from the grass sullenly
The book she was reading did not offer any hope
As it was about the spanish flue and how to cope
I want to just disappear and jump to another manifold
Thought she to herself as she appeared to scold
Herself for even thinking about being optimistic
And wished that she believed in something like a mystic
